Brushtec has our own in-house specialist plastic moulding and tool making division, capable of producing a wide range of plastic parts using the most up-to-date tool making and moulding technology.
We mould all of our own road sweeping brush disks and tubes in house, alongside most of our customers proprietary rotary brush and strip brush stocks, allowing us to control quality at each stage of the manufacturing process.
Brushtec can assist on the design, and eventual production of any plastic parts – which need not be brush related – using machinery ranging from 65 to 850 ton. We specialise in thick wall moulding using structural foam moulding machinery with an impressive 12kg shot weight capacity.
Our tooling division is equipped with the latest CAD/CAM software and CNC milling machines, lathes and EDM spark eroders, our team can advise you on the design of your product, the tooling requirements, and the type of plastic to be used from prototyping through to full manufacture.
Our tool making division is equipped with the latest in CAD/CAM software to work accurately with our CNC milling machines, lathes and EDM spark eroders. Brushtec can help with any product design work, tooling requirements, and finding the most suitable plastic material for manufacture. Our prototyping capabilities also include 3D printers, for low cost and rapid prototype construction.
